A Fine Arts graduate, Kate has always been fascinated by extraordinary stories about ordinary people and kick started her filmmaking career with a TV documentary commission about a vampire heavy metal band from the suburbs of Melbourne. 

Now based in London, she has had a long career writing, directing and producing TV documentaries for Netflix, BBC, Channel 4, Five, ITV1 and US channels CNN, National Geographic and Discovery as well as web films and interactive documentaries for a range of UK charities.

Jude is an established TV Producer managing all the logistical, financial and business aspects for a range of documentaries, game shows and factual series for BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.

 

She is also a recognisable consultant and trainer for TV industry education programmes and events for the BBC, BAFTA, The Royal Television Society, UK universities and social enterprises.

 

A Walthamstow resident since 2004, she believes in the power of community shared knowledge for inspiration and progress.

JUDE WINSTANLEY

Jen Barrett is a fundraising and grants specialist with a successful track record in generating income in the charity and higher education sectors. 

Her skills include bid writing, partnership negotiation, financial planning and system design, and grant management.

 

She has worked with a range of organisations throughout her career including the Heritage Lottery Fund, Help the Aged and more recently managing multi-million pound grants at University College London.

 

With a love of social history that can be traced back to her studies in Sociology at the University of Glasgow, Jen believes that the lives and experiences of ordinary people should be celebrated and shared.

SARA HILL

Sara has a wealth of experience in senior management roles in TV & Tech – setting up apps and websites.  

 

She now works as a freelance interim business manager, speaker and project manager. 

 

Formerly a Trustee and  Secretary of the Friends of the National Archives, Sara has a passion for making arts and heritage accessible to the  community, volunteering at Walthamstow Wetlands as a tour guide and project managing the successful South Tottenham Art Walk.
